Moji Debate Bot supports tournament communication. CalicoTab and the OrgComm (tournament organizers) remain the source of truth for official tournament information.

Service

Moji Debate Bot is operated by Chu Đức An in Vietnam. By using the bot, you agree to use it only for legitimate tournament operations and to follow Discord’s Terms of Service, Community Guidelines, and your tournament’s rules.

The bot provides a convenience interface to CalicoTab. The OrgComm and CalicoTab control official draws, motions, schedules, assignments, ballots, feedback, and results.

The service is free and provided as-is. Discord, Railway, network, or CalicoTab failures may delay or prevent a response or notification. Verify important information in CalicoTab.

Acceptable use

You must not:

  • Share another participant’s Private URL.
  • Impersonate another participant or bypass link ownership controls.
  • Abuse commands, buttons, direct messages, mentions, or API endpoints.
  • Use the bot to harass, spam, or interfere with a tournament.

Intellectual property

Moji Debate Bot code, documentation, branding, and original content belong to Chu Đức An or their respective licensors. Discord and CalicoTab names, logos, and content remain owned by their respective owners.

Accounts and security

You are responsible for your Discord account and for keeping your CalicoTab Private URL confidential. Server administrators are responsible for supplying and rotating their tournament's CalicoTab API token through the private setup flow. Do not submit another person’s URL or attempt to bypass link ownership controls.

Third-party services

The bot may display or depend on Discord, CalicoTab, Railway, Zoom, Google Meet, and other third-party services. Moji Debate Bot does not control or guarantee their content, availability, or policies. Review each provider’s terms and privacy policy.

Provider terms: Discord, Railway, and Vercel. Consult the policies linked by your CalicoTab tournament and meeting provider.

OrgComm access

Tournament organizers coordinate security and event operations. Administrative actions require the relevant configured Bot Manager access or Discord permissions; the OrgComm role alone does not grant these permissions. Confirmed /setup remove permanently deletes that server's stored credential and operational state, then makes the bot leave the server. Removing the bot triggers the same purge; if the bot is offline, startup reconciliation handles the missed removal when it resumes.

Server administrators authorize the bot to create and secure a private Command Log channel. The log is an operational coordination aid, not a legal or tamper-proof audit system. It may record sanitized successful Bot Manager actions and meaningful automation outcomes; organizers remain responsible for reviewing access to Bot Manager roles and the channel.

Liability

To the extent permitted by law, Chu Đức An is not liable for losses caused by third-party outages, delayed or failed notifications, incorrect tournament data, or use of the bot. You agree to cover claims arising from your unlawful use of the bot or violation of these Terms.

If any provision is found invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in effect. These Terms do not limit mandatory rights or protections that apply in your jurisdiction.
